Reception have been investigating and exploring in a fun, imaginative way to get them excited about 'Science Week'.

Children in Reception have been learning new vocabulary such as 'pour', 'floating' and 'slimey' and many more.

They were able to mix and stir to create movement in their experiments but also write what they have seen. 

During December, we held a 'Winter bake' sale. Each class made their own winter treats to sell to our parents. We raised over £200 which we will use in Spring to create a memorable moment at school! 

We love cooking in Reception and will hold more bake sales throughout the year.
