Our Year 2 children had a wonderful trip to Tate Modern in London, where they explored a variety of artworks across the gallery. The children particularly enjoyed looking for pictures of families, friends and self-portraits, and many created sketches inspired by their favourite pieces. They also took part in outdoor sketching of the London skyline. Most pupils showed excellent behaviour throughout the visit and were so engaged in the experience that many said they did not want to leave the gallery!
