Our Reception children had a fantastic time celebrating Science Week through exciting, hands-on investigations that sparked their curiosity and encouraged them to think like young scientists. Throughout the week, the children explored, predicted, observed and experimented, asking thoughtful questions and sharing their ideas with confidence.

From discovering how different materials react, to exploring nature and making exciting observations, the children developed important scientific skills including investigating, problem-solving, communicating their findings and working collaboratively with their friends. Their enthusiasm, imagination and willingness to explore were wonderful to see.

Science Week provided a fantastic opportunity to inspire a lifelong love of learning, reminding our children that science is all around us and that every question is worth exploring!
