Spelling Practice   

Very, going, all 

 

Purpose:  

To use descriptive language. 

 

 

An adjective is a word that tells us more about a noun. 

An adjective often comes  before a noun.  eg : a  big pumpkin , poorly  plant

 

 

Activity 

Children to write a sentence up levelling with a new and improved adjective. 

Eg: big – massive, huge,  

Pattan and the other creatures  went into the  massive pumpkin. 

Pattan  found a poorly plant in the  Valley

It had  pretty , bright  yellow  flowers.
