LO: To write an invitation
I can use capital letters, finger spaces and full stops in my writing.

Purpose: To use capital letters and full stops
Vocabulary: Max, tree, wild things, forest setting describe adjectives, proud, funny, angry, upset, furious, mischievous. Adjectives Wild Thing invitation, invite rumpus
Show your child some examples of invitation. Ask whether he/she has received an invitation card before and for which occasion.
Show the illustration where the wild things were having a rumpus with Max. Tell children that we are also going to have a rumpus at home so she /he is going to write an invitation to invite hs friends to the rumpus
Go through the feature of an invitation with children
