Good morning Year One and happy Wednesday!
We are halfway through the week now, so I hope you are ready for your next task!
The learning that we've been seeing this week on seesaw has been absolutely fantastic, so keep up the hard work!
Today, we are continuing to find out information from our firefighter’s book. You need to get your reading detective glasses ready and prepare to search for some more information, using the contents page to navigate.
First of all, you need to re-read the book and familiarise yourself with the information.
Well done for your great reading. Now, it’s time for your activity
You are going to make a list of all the different jobs that a firefighter does when they are on their job duties. You can refer to the book for this information. Remember when you write a list you need to write each new item on a new line with a bullet point or number at the beginning. Have a look at these ones below to help remind you...
As always, your target is to ensure that your writing is neat with all your sentences sitting on the line. You need to make sure you are using capital letters, full stops and finger spaces whilst rehearsing your sentences out loud before you write them.
Best of luck and remember to post your learning on Seesaw when you’re finished.
