Hi Year One!
We are half way through the week! What an amazing week we have had.
Now that you all have designed and created something spectacular for the carnival, you need to share your brilliant ideas with a friend, so that they can make one just like you.
When we want to explain to someone how to make something, we write step by step instructions. Where possible, we all add photographs so that they can see how the product should look. For more details just click on your writing tab today to see the lesson.
What else? Ohh yes! Maths. What fun it is when we learn about the time. Get ready to learn how to tell the time to the hour and half past. So, if you have a spare clock at home get that at hand as you will need that to understand. Now, look closely at a clock face and see if you can spot the long hand and the short hand. Do you know why these hands look different and what do they represent? Well, all your answers await in your Maths learning, so head straight there today.
Remember children, if you find anything a little difficult or you are not sure about anything, always ask someone at home for help just like you do in school. Try to reflect on the mistake you were making so that next time you remember not to repeat it.
Are you in the race to be a Reading Champion? Get ready to write a review about the books you’ve read or are going to read today and send them to your teachers on Seesaw.
Remember to read at-least one book every day on Big Club because Reading is the exercise for the brain.
Finally, make sure you are sending your learning to your teachers on Seesaw and you have logins for other websites that you should be visiting too for your learning. You should have all the logins given to you. If for any reason you don’t know just send a message on Seesaw to your teacher for the login details.
