Daily Timetable/Activities

Read for at least 20 minutes. This could be your school reading book, a home book, Bug Club or another text you enjoy. Identify any new and unknown vocabulary and find the definitions.

Today I only want you to complete the second section of the reading paper (Lightning War). You will complete the third section later on this week so that you can see your overall score. Make sure you mark your answers at the end.

Visit the BBC Bitesize daily lesson website here (we are no longer using White Rose Maths):

Please complete today's lesson (check the lesson has today's date!). You can watch the videos first to help you, then complete the activities and mark them. If you are finding it difficult, re-watch the videos or look for other online tutorials (Khan Academy and Mathantics are good places to start).

Today, you should be writing your balanced argument. This was planned on Monday, so make sure you check back and read through your plans carefully. Most of you should have started to write yesterday, but if not, you need to make sure you begin writing today.

Remember, a balanced argument means that you are not giving your opinion! You are simply providing the different viewpoints, facts and opinions in a balanced way. The only time you may mention your own personal opinion is in the conclusion, where you might give a personal suggestion.

Also, practise your spellings and write the definition of each word.

Log in to Yumu. This week, you should be completing the 'Follow the beat and create your own lyric' tasks. Remember, Ms Iqbal will be checking how many points you are accumulating on Yumu!
