Good afternoon all,
The weather has been amazing this week and I hope that you are all taking some time out of your day to enjoy the glorious sunshine.
I want to say well done to everyone who is tailoring their home learning experiences to their interests so that they can work on gaps in their learning.
I also want to say that please think about your parents’ and family’s well being. They are working really hard to ensure that you are still learning new things and that you are happy. Please encourage them to take an hour out of their day to enjoy something that they like to do, or just make sure that you are considering their feelings and showing them lots of appreciation from the things that you say and do.
The answers are available. Please mark your answers and write a reflection comment about your learning.
Have a restful evening,
Mrs. Ajmal (Vjollce)
Hello year 3s,
I hope that you have had a fantastic start to the week and have begun to complete your home-learning with great confidence.
We are already halfway through the week! I hope that you are all getting the time to go outside and enjoy some of the sunshine as and when it appears.
P.E: Follow Joe Wicks’ daily routine.
Writing: Today, using your planning and notes from yesterday, you can write your own funny limerick poem or even poems today!
Look through some of the example poems before writing your own.
Maths: Follow the instructions on the White Rose website and please watch the video first. The videos will give you more detailed information on the learning needed for some of your lessons.
SPAG: You will continue learning about fronted adverbials. Again, carefully read through the lesson presentation information before starting today’s the activity. Use the word mats to support your learning.
Reading: For the Comprehension task today, remember to use the reading strategies and inferential skills we have taught you in school to help you answer all questions correctly. The poem you are reading today is The Duck and the Kangaroo.
Geography: You will be studying the physical features of Canada!
Don't forget to message your teacher on SeeSaw any questions that you have about your work by the end of the day.
Have a wonderful Wednesday,
Mrs. Ajmal (Vjollce)
