I hope you enjoyed your learning today and we are going to see some of your amazing shared work in ‘Celebrating Our Learning’ page. Be proud of yourselves as all the year 3 teachers are so proud of your hard work.
I know you are all keeping fit with Joe Wicks P.E sessions every morning.
In writing, you have now learnt about the features of mythical story.
How did you get on with comparing fractions in maths today? Great! Keep practising and you will master it in no time.
In SPaG, you can now put speech marks in the correct places in sentences.
Did you use your reading strategies and inferential skills to help you answer the comprehension questions?
Did you find it interesting learning about sources of light in science?
The answers for today’s learning are now available so make sure you go and check.

How many books have you read so far? Have you been reading to your parents, carers or siblings? It is not too late to start if you haven’t and congratulations to those of you who have been reading. Remember you can read your school book, a home book, bug club or any other text of your interest.

Good Morning Year 3!
It is another new day and I hope you and your family are keeping yourselves safe. I know you are all ready for another day of exciting learning.
Follow the timetable to complete your learning for today which includes: P.E, Writing, Maths, SPaG, Reading and Geography.
You will start your day by doing P.E with Joe Wicks.
In writing, you will be learning about Mythical features of Odysseus and Cyclops. In maths, you will be comparing fractions. This will be followed by SPaG where you will learn how to use inverted commas correctly in sentences. Your reading comprehension will be about Odysseus and Cyclops. You will finish off with science by learning about light and dark.
Remember to read all instructions carefully and go through the sources of information for a good understanding before doing any activity. Taking regular breaks during your learning is important so don’t forget.
