Wednesday 13th May

A pleasant good afternoon Year 3!

Hope your learning went well and you enjoyed your activities.

How did you get on with your tasks for today? Hopefully, you were able to gain some new knowledge and have had fun doing so in the comfort of your homes.

Well done, you got through another day! If you require any help or support with your learning, please ask your teachers on SeeSaw and your adults or elder siblings to support you, also there are many resources that can be found on the internet to assist you.

The answers to the tasks are available; self-mark your answers. Please mark your home learning before you upload on SeeSaw.

Also, remember to carry out your home learning by logging on to: My Maths, TT Rock Stars and Bug Club.

Well done to all the students who have logged in today! Your teachers are monitoring this closely every day.

Ensure you are reading daily for at least 30 minutes and filling in your reading log.

Enjoy the rest of your evening! Now have a break until tomorrow!

Mrs. Ajmal (Vjollce Class)

Good morning year 3s,

How has your home learning been going so far? I hope you’re finding the lessons manageable and the tasks achievable. Thank you for still being inspired and resilient in spite of what is going on around us. Keep being strong – you can do this. Hopefully this will be over soon and before long you’ll be back in school seeing your teachers and friends again. Keep up the good work and please note that we’re all proud of you.

SeeSaw has been a great hit! The students are getting support directly from their teachers and feeling proud after getting remarks.

Today in your home learning you have following lessons to do:

Writing: Facts and opinions

You are given some statements regarding the Battle of Troy; determine which ones are facts or opinions

SPAG: In today’s lesson, you will continue to practise using prefixes. Again, read through the prefixes information to remind you before starting the activity for today. You can use the prefix poster and the prefix word list for support.

Reading: An interesting non-fiction text ‘Shark Infested Facts’. You will have a reading and an answer booklet. Make sure you read the text carefully before you answer the questions.

Science: Making Shadows

You will be learning about different materials. Please go over the lesson presentation and then complete your activity.

Maths: Watch your lesson video on the White Rose website and then solve your questions.

Have a wonderful day!

Mrs. Ajmal (Vjollce class)
