Afternoon Message- Wednesday 1st April 2020

Good afternoon year 6! I hope that you've  been able to complete your writing to a high standard. Don't forget to take a picture of your learning and send it Mr Berry, via the contact form, on the main Y6 page. It would be really nice to share some examples on the website.  I would also like for you to send examples of your R.E. learning so that I can share this as well.

I hope that you are continuing to keep up with your homework as well. This should be: reading a book; Mymaths and TT Rockstars.

Tonight, I'm giving you an additional homework task. I would like you, to ask your parents to check their Parentmail accounts, for details of your Charanga music logins. Children from YR-Y6, should all have received a login on Friday. After you have located you login details, I would like you to login to the website. Please see below for  details of how to login.

Go to
Enter your username and password in the boxes on
the screen.
Enter your username
Enter your password
Click on the Log In button.

For now, you just need to check 1) that you have received your login details 2) that you can successfully login. Please help your younger siblings with this.

If there are any problems then, please can you use the contact form and either let Mr Berry know or use the contact form on the music page, to let me know.

From next week, you will begin to receive music homework, using this website.

Hope you have a great evening.

Morning Message- Wednesday 1st April 2020

Good morning year 6! Hope you are all doing well. The sun is shining this morning-makes me feel happy and energised for the day ahead. Today, you will start by completing your 'Moonfleet' reading comprehension. You will need to ensure that you are using your reading strategies to support you with this and ensure that you have answered the questions correctly. I will put up the answers at the end of the day.

Don't forget to ready a Bug club book today and do the quizzes. Your teachers are monitoring this.

In your writing, you will begin to write your non-chronological report. This will include an introduction and and perhaps paragraph, with your first sub-heading that you have undertaken research for. Don't forget to join your letters correctly. I'm looking forward to seeing your completed work. Please share your Literacy and R.E. work from yesterday, using the contact form. We would like to publish these on the website.

Maths will be lesson 3  from the website.  Don't forget you can use the CGP Maths study guides to help you as well as the video on the website.

In the  afternoon, you will complete SPAG and Computing.

Don't forget your PE lesson, with Joe Wicks!

Hope you have a good day. We'll catch up later.
