Tuesday 31st March

Hello again Year 3,

I hope you had a great and productive home learning day and must have put all your efforts to complete your daily tasks. Keep going with your amazing home learning, your teachers are very proud of you.

Well done to all the children who have been logging onto My Maths, TT Rockstar and Bug Club. I know we are all adapting to new routines at home, but you are showing great resilience and a positive attitude. Please remember to send photos of your completed work.

We understand that this is a different way of learning, but we hope you will embrace whatever challenges or obstacles come your way.

Answers and Reflection

The answers are now available so check how you got on!

Hopefully you have used bullet points to plan your diary entry. Remember all the key features when writing your diary. We can’t wait to read some of your interesting diary entries.

Please ensure you are also reading every day for 30 minutes and filling in your Reading Records. You can also create your own book review similar to the books reviews below.

Take care and stay safe,

Mrs Ajmal (Vjollce Class)

Hello Fantastic year 3,

Firstly, I want to say well done for your continues effort, which all the year 3 teachers can see in the ‘Celebrate our learning’ folder so do not forget to share.

Remember, you have been completing your learning extremely well this year and the teachers do not want this enthusiasm to stop.

A huge thank you to the parents for supporting you all in completing your home learning. Even though you are not at school, we know you do not want to miss out on any learning!

I hope you all will be following the timetable including your PE lesson with Joe Wicks every morning at 9:00 am.

Today in reading, you need to use your incredible inferential skills to answer the comprehension questions. The extract is taken from Roald Dahl’s ‘James and the Giant Peach’ (some of you may have read the book or watched the movie).

Writing/SPAG: First, check the instructions for SPAG and for writing before you start researching/planning for your diary entry.

Maths: Here come the fraction problems. Remember to read the questions carefully, before you start working out.

Geography: You will be learning the difference between human and physical Geography. You will be researching and finding physical and human features in Britain and Italy.

Reminders:

· Keep reading books on Bug Club (Teachers upload books regularly)

. Visit My Maths and TT Rockstar,
