Good afternoon Year 4!
We hope that you have had a fantastic term of home learning and spending time with your family. There is just one more day left of this term – we hope that you really enjoy your last day of learning tomorrow.
It is almost the end of the Summer Term and your time in Year 4. You have been working so hard this term and we have seen some wonderful learning that some of you have been posting regularly onto Seesaw. You have all made an incredible effort to keep up you’re your learning. Well done and a big thank you to you and your parents or members of your family who have helped you. It has been a real joy to have spent time with you all this year and we have really missed seeing you in class!
We hope that you stay safe and sound over the summer. Remember to keep up with your reading and practising your times tables in the summer holidays. We hope that you all enjoy the time off with your family and friends and have fun! Hope to see you around in September!

Good morning Year 4!
We hope that you had a really lovely evening yesterday with your family. There was some wonderful artwork from you for the Gascoigne Virtual Art Week last week - well done!
Today you will be starting your day as always with a P.E. session to get your energy levels up.
For reading comprehension remember to read the text very carefully before you start answering the questions.
Today you will be rewriting your last part of the story in Literacy but with a different ending – don’t forget to use your planning sheet to help you. Just a gentle reminder to put your best efforts into your learning. Remember to focus on neat presentation and handwriting. We look forward to reading some of your stories!
For your Maths work, see if you can remember any of the strategies that you have learnt when you were in class.
Have a wonderful day!
Miss Shum and Year 4 team.
Maths Assessment Reasoning Paper A
Today you will make an attempt to solve as many problems as you are able to on this assessment sheet. Make a note of areas that you found difficult and let your new teacher know in September. However, you must try to develop and improve your knowledge and understanding during the holiday. Please complete this assessment independently! If you do not have access to a printer, then write the answers, where possible, in your writing books.
