Write a diary entry in role as Daisy, explaining what she is thinking and how she is feeling now that is in Ma Grunter's orphanage.


  • she came home from school, couldn't find her dad;
  • saw that all of the furniture had been removed;
  • she's kidnapped;
  • she uses her senses so that she knows where she is;
  • left at the orphanage


When you end the diary, think about what she might do next. Could she escape? 


Make sure your sentences make sense. Try and use a range of pronouns. Think about fronted adverbials, parenthesis and your use of y6 punctuation.
