Good afternoon Year 4!

We hope that you had another wonderful day of learning.

Did you remember some of the features to help you improve your sentence writing?  You can look back to today’s lesson to help you when you are writing your recount on Thursday.

I hope that you enjoyed learning about ears for Science.  I found the lesson really interesting and found out things that I didn’t know about my ears!

Remember to keep up with reading on a daily basis.  You can use bug club or read First News which is available on the school website if you haven’t got any books to read at home.

We hope you have a lovely evening with your family and don’t forget that you can post your work using the Seesaw app.  We would love to see how you are getting on with your learning.

Good morning Year 4!

We hope that you had a lovely evening relaxing and spending time with your family yesterday.

For an energetic start to the day you can begin with a PE session and then do your reading comprehension task.

You will be using your knowledge of decimals to divide digits by 10 today for Maths.  Remember, understanding place value is really important here.  You can look up a place value chart with a decimal point to help you find the answers.

Literacy will involve you improving sentences using the skills that you have learnt in school.  The power point is a reminder of what you should already know - remember you can use the power of 3 for adjectives.   Once you have practised the activities with the power point you should be able to up level your sentences with your recount later on this week.

Have a delightful day of learning and remember to take regular breaks.
