Good afternoon Year 4!
We hope that you had fun with your day of learning.
Did you remember any strategies to help you with equivalent fractions today? Remember that you can use the Mymaths website to help you with revising topics that you are not sure about.
I wonder what you have chosen to write your cinquain poems about? They look really fun to write about and we look forward to reading them when you write your own tomorrow.
I am looking forward to reading about what issue you would like to solve in the world and how you would do it. Remember that you can send your work to your teacher using Seesaw.
Remember to keep practising your times tables on TTRockstars as this will help you with your Maths work. Keep up with your reading skills on Bug Club and remember to complete the comprehension questions that come with each book.
This week is Mental Health Awareness week and the theme is kindness. Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Affection, gentleness, warmth, concern, and care are words that are associated with kindness. Can you think of something kind that you can do or say to someone at home?
We hope you have a lovely evening with your family.
Miss Shum and Year 4 Team.
Good morning Year 4!
We hope that you had a good rest yesterday evening. Get fit with Jo Wicks this morning to get your body and brain in gear for another day of learning!
While you are watching the YouTube video for Literacy why don’t you jot down some notes so that you have the features of a ciquain poem to help with your planning today.
Maths today will be focusing on equivalent fractions. Look at the questions carefully and see if you can remember the strategies that you learnt when we covered this topic in school earlier on this year.
Today’s RE lesson is one that you can discuss with members of your family before you decide what issue you would like to solve in the world and how you can do it. I think this will be a really interesting discussion to have and it will help you choose what to write about.
