Good afternoon year 3!
I hope you have had a good day of learning and are enjoying the sunshine outside of your windows!
I have lots of children from my class sharing their learning with me today and it's wonderful to see them completing any next steps or challenges that I give them. I am sure all of you across year 3 are working just as hard so well done.
Don't forget to make sure your learning is marked before sharing it with your teacher on Seesaw so that we can see exactly where you may need a bit more help and support. Also remember to let your teacher know if you are finding it hard or you don't understand a part of your learning.
Tomorrow is 'THANK A TEACHER DAY!' and I know all of you have a teacher that has helped you in some way in your life. Tomorrow is your opportunity to tell a teacher or teachers exactly what you are thankful for.
Speak to your parents and ask them if they remember any teachers from when they were at school and why they are thankful to them.
Myself and the other year 3 teachers can't wait to see how you want to share your message of thanks!
But for now, have a restful evening, enjoy the sunshine and get a good sleep tonight so that you are ready for another fun day of learning tomorrow

Good morning year 3!
I hope you all had a good sleep and are ready to go with another fun day of learning from home.
As you have probably noticed, we are having a little break away from Joe Wicks this week and have lots of other fun P.E sessions to get you ready for the day ahead. Today you will be dancing alongside 'Kidz Bop!'.
In Writing, you are continuing with your newspaper report about either the 'Trojan Horse' or 'The Beginning of the Olympic Games'. Make sure you are giving your reader lots of information and you are including, direct and reported speech, images, captions and lots of facts and opinions.
For Maths, you are continuing to learn about fractions and 'making the whole' today. Don't forget, if you find any questions or learning hard, talk to your teacher through Seesaw because we are all still here to help.
For SPaG you will be carrying on with how to use apostrophes and for Reading you will be reading and answering questions about 'The Tale of Peter Rabbit'. REMEMBER TO UNDERLINE THE KEY WORDS OF EACH QUESTION BEFORE ANSWERING.
You will be finishing your day with Science today where you will be looking and learning how shadows can change depending on the distance and direction of the light source.
Have a think over today which teacher or teachers you would like to thank and why as tomorrow is 'Thank a Teacher Day'. You will all be showing your appreciation through activities tomorrow.
Have a fabulous day everybody and I will be back at 3:00pm.
