Maths 

This week we will be having Maths tests every day. It is important you do the test each day and identify which skills you need help in. After you have identified the skills that you need help in, you can revise these skills using the internet and/or textbooks. 

 

You need to: 

  • Complete the Arithmetic test attached 

  • Self-mark your work using the answers that have been included 

  • Identify which Maths skills you need help in for these arithmetic tests e.g. division, adding fractions, etc.  

  • Use different resources (internet, workbooks, etc) to revise these skills.

LO: To write the opening of the story.

LO: To develop reading for pleasure through personal reflection.

In this lesson, we will explore examples of genre in literature. We will explore the different kinds of reading we do each day and create a 24 hour reading log.

In this lesson, we will learn about how the Roman Empire became so powerful. We will begin by looking at what an empire is and then look at how the Roman Empire first began. Finally, we will learn about how it became the most powerful empire in the western world.
