Good Afternoon Year 4
We hope your learning went well and that you enjoyed your activities. How did your plan for narrative writing go today? What delicious dish did you choose to focus on and have you remembered to make a drawing of your dish?
Don’t forget answers are available for you all – please ensure you self-mark your completed work and then upload. It is evident to teachers all those who regularly visit TTRockstars and Bug Club. The efforts of your disciplined approach are reflected in your daily mathematical thinking and creative writing. Keep this up!
We hope you all have a very restful, and relaxing evening.
Ms Dworniak and the Year 4 Team
Good morning Year 4 and welcome to another exciting day of learning!
In Reading today, the text is a piece called “Ahoy me hearties!” Can you guess what the text will be about today?
In Literacy you are asked to plan the beginning of a narrative using the template provided. We look forward to reading detailed plans which will help you in your writing tomorrow.
In SPAG you are asked to punctuate sentences. Remember to copy out the work sheet in your book (if you don’t have a printer) and correctly punctuate. Check the answers which will be given on Friday and mark your work. Then upload your marked work onto the see saw app.
In DT you will design and plan a dish. Use the attached planning sheet which asks that you set out the ingredients, list the kitchen tools and write the sequence of cooking the dish (or the method). After you have planned the dish you are asked to draw a design of your dish in your book, clearly labelling the different ingredients in the dish. Remember if you are stuck for ideas refer to the power point titled, Simple Recipes for Children. Yummy Oat Flapjacks or Chocolate Brownies are just 2 of the exciting recipes that can be found on the power point.
Have a great day!
