Good Afternoon Year 4

We hope your learning went well and that you enjoyed your activities. How did your poetry writing go today? Remember to check the answers to the reading comprehension questions. Look closely at what is being said in the answers. Do you have any of the ideas being expressed? If so well done. Give yourself a tick.

Don’t forget to regularly visit TTRockstars and Bug Club. Your teachers are monitoring this closely.  Ensure you are reading daily for at least 30 minutes and filling in your Reading Records.

Have a lovely evening and stay safe!

Ms Dworniak and the Year 4 Team

Good morning Year 4 and welcome to another great day of learning!

In music you will listen to music called La Quinta estampie real. The composer is unknown and it was very popular during the early 13th Century. Also, you will find out about the young composer Zoe Dixon who clearly is passionate and determined about her music.

Today in Reading you will continue work on the Ballard the Highwayman. It’s a great opportunity to look in depth at the meaning behind the text. We think you will find it very exciting and informative. Indeed it will be a great source of inspiration for you when it comes to writing your cinquain poems on the Highwayman in literacy today. Have fun!

Remember to take breaks and we look forward to reading your Highwayman poems that may end up on the school website.

Have a great day!
