LO: To know how to organise ideas around a theme
Today you will be writing a haiku about your experience of the lockdown. It could be about any part of it, e.g: not being able to school, missing your family, the unity between the communities or whatever you choose. Your poem will need to follow the haiku structure of three lines:
5 syllables for the first line,
7 syllables in the second
5 syllables in the last.
Refer to the PowerPoint below to help you. Remember to publish and decorate your haiku, sending it to your teachers on Seesaw, we would love to upload some examples onto the school website.
Please use the link above to access the daily Maths lessons on BBC Bitesize. When you click on the link, you will see various subjects, click Maths and follow the instructions on the screen. Home learning focus will be on there daily. Each lesson will include a variety of activities, worksheets and videos. Complete all your learning in your book and Seesaw the work you have been doing daily, after self-marking the activities (answers will be found under the relevant activities).
1) Log on to Charanga
2) Click on 'Learn to sing the song – Dancing in the street.'
3) It’s important that you follow the lyrics on the screen and sing along. Think about how it makes you feel, is there any particular reason why it makes you feel this way (beats, pitch, etc).
4) Then click on the 'backing only' and sing along again. It’s vital that you can feel a connection to the track and have some reflection whilst listening to it.
