LO: To know how to organise ideas around a theme.
Today you will write and complete your poem. Please refer to the success criteria provided yesterday and the planning you have done to guide you as you write the poem. Remember, this poem is from a soldier’s perspective, so you may choose to use first person throughout. However, if you choose to do third person, it allows a different perspective which is also interesting. Please choose one and stick to it. You can choose a tense of your choice as well but choose one and continue it throughout for cohesion. Please refer to yesterday's poetry examples as a model for your writing.
We are moving onto a different Maths platform. Please use the link above to access the daily Maths lessons on BBC Bitesize. When you click on the link, you will see various subjects, click Maths and follow the instructions on the screen. Home learning focus will be on there daily. Each lesson will include a variety of activities, worksheets and videos. Complete all your learning in your book and Seesaw the work you have been doing daily, after self-marking the activities (answers will be found under the relevant activities).
Log on to Charanga - Click onto 'Listen and Appraise – The tracks of my tears'. It is important that you listen to the track and answer the questions on the screen. Think about how it makes you feel, is there any particular reason why it makes you feel this way (beats, pitch, etc) ? Then click on 'Appraise' and answer the relevant questions on the screen. It is vital that you can feel a connection to the track and have some reflection whilst listening to it.
