Good Afternoon Everybody!

Joe Wicks is back for another week to motivate us for our love for PE. Please subscribe to his YouTube channel below to take part in his live PE lessons from 9-9.30am. Remember it is important to stay fit and active even though you are indoors.

LO: To know how to organise ideas around a theme

Today you will write and complete your poem. You have done quite a bit of prep work so you should be ready and raring to go. Please refer to the success criteria to guide you as you write the poem. Remember, this poem is from the horse’s perspective, so you may choose to use first person throughout. However, if you choose to do third person, it allows a different perspective which is also interesting. Please choose one and stick to it. You can choose a tense of your choice as well but choose one and continue it throughout for cohesion. Once you have written the poem ensure you thoroughly edit it.

Hello Year 5,

We are now using a fantastic resource called White Rose Maths to carry out our Math's learning. You need to use the link below to assess the learning, where you will see a video, questions and answers relevant to your day's lesson.

For this week you need to click onto Summer Term week 3 (w/c 4th May) and play the video for Lesson 4, then attempt the questions and self mark to help you reflect on your learning. If you have any issues please feel free to contact the Year 5 team on this website or via See Saw.

1) Log on to Charanga

2) Click onto 'Listen and Appraise – You are The Sunshine of my life'

3) It’s important that you listen to the track and answer the questions on the screen. Think about how it makes you feel, is there any particular reason why it makes you feel this way (beats, pitch, etc).

4) Then click on 'Appraise' and answer the relevant questions on the screen. It’s vital that you can feel a connection to the track and have some reflection whilst listening to it.

Good Morning Everybody!
