Good Morning, everyone. I hope that you and your families are safe and well. What have been doing with your spare time? I have exercised most days since I last saw you and have taken up a new hobby-baking!
You are editing and improving your writing today. Ensure that you use online dictionaries and thesauruses to enable you to check your spellings and up level your vocabulary. See the writing section below for further information. I have noticed that children are not using the correct sentence punctuation in messages that you are sending to your teachers, so please ensure that you really focus on this. Just a reminder that, all writing MUST be punctuated correctly!
For Spag, you are using devices to build cohesion. Think back to lessons that we completed at school on building cohesion. You can also link this to the appropriate section in your CGP books.
In the RE lesson today, you will be learning about Religious groups in Barking and Dagenham, in 2018 then you will choose a religious leader from your community ( this could be the person that leads worship in your religion or from another religion) and prepare some questions to ask them. Tip: Refer to the job descriptions of an Imam and a priest to guide your questions. Think about all of the duties that your chosen leader needs to carry out to fulfil their role, this will help you to focus your questions. Don't forget to include your ?
Today while you are completing your home learning, I will be going through your Music folders to see who has managed to complete the Music activities on Yumu and earned the most coins in Y6, so far. They are fun and easy to complete and are enabling you to Listen to and find out about some artists from the Inspirational Women’s Timeline.

Complete the SPaG activity below. There is a Powerpoint which you can work through to show you how to answer the questions. You can then work on the varied fluency questions. Select either 'Developing', 'Expected' or 'Greater Depth' depending on how confident you are with the topic. You can then mark your work and move onto the application and reasoning sheet.
