Good Afternoon Year 4
We hope you’ve had a good day of learning. We hope you’re all trying your best. Remember it’s really important to continue all the effort and hard work you put into school to keep this up at home. We have no doubt you’re all trying really hard and putting in lots of effort.
How did your planning go for your descriptive writing tomorrow? It will be exciting reading some of your work on the website next week.
Remember don’t forget to keep practising your times tables with TTRockstars on a daily basis. Have a go at the soundcheck to challenge yourself daily.
Make sure you take some time out for yourself to do the things you really enjoy.
Lastly, look after yourselves, remember to exercise daily with Joe Wicks and stay safe.

Good morning Year 4,
Welcome to another day of fantastic learning! We hope that you are all well and safe.
Remember when reading today, ensure you have understood the vocabulary and research new and unfamiliar words so you know exactly what they mean. Also, please try to use the new words that you come across in your reading in your descriptive writing.
In today’s writing session, you’ll be planning for your descriptive writing tomorrow. Perhaps you can start with compiling a word bank to describe the two houses. Here are a few that you may want to use. The Old House – deserted, companionless, tumbled down, disreputable, dilapidated, venerable. The Blue House – smart, homely, comfortable, handsome, curious, energetic, rebellious!
In geography, you will have the opportunity to watch two fantastic videos showing how rivers are formed. The scenery is breath-taking and they are both well worth watching. They really will lift your spirits as well as giving you interesting information on the formation of rivers. Enjoy!
Have a great day!
