How are you getting on with your daily reading? We believe your mind is opening up to new ideas and vocabulary as you read. Remember to keep a dictionary around you to search for the meaning of new words you do not understand. What about your BUG quiz? Please send a message to your teachers on seesaw if you need help.
Are you in the race to be a Reading Champions winner? Which books did you read yesterday? What type of books were they? Were they Fiction (made up stories) or Non-fiction (information books)? Have you written reviews about them? Which one would you recommend to your friends and teachers to read?
As you read today, remember to discuss the events or information in the book that you have read with your adult, as it would help you get a better understanding. Then, write your book review.
In as much as you love reading, we'll ask that you try to read at least 2 book reviews everyday and write a review about your favourite. Remember to share your review with your class teacher on Seesaw.
Reading Champions celebration
Our Reading Champions this week would be children who write in depth and quality reviews and NOT A LOT OF REVIEWS. Good luck!
We've attached a Book Review template for your reference. You do not have to print the template to use for your review, try and create your own using the prompts on the template; then, ask your adult to take a picture and share on Seesaw with your class teacher.
