At Gascoigne Primary School, we fully understand the importance of and need to work in partnership with our parents and carers; we would like the children to be provided with the best support and guidance from their adults, in order to achieve their full potential. Clear systems of communication are important for us to build this positive and trusting relationship.
Our open door policy means that our parents and carers may request to see a member of staff, including the Senior Leadership Team at any time, we are there for you. Alternatively, if you need to speak with a teacher at the end of the day, they will be more than willing to accommodate you. We are constantly adding new information and developing pages on our website, so please check it regularly. We have also gone 'live' with an App which you can download for your smart phone from the app store - just type in Gascoigne Primary.
We are keen for our pupils to become ambassadors of the community and encourage them to excel in their behaviour. We welcome positive emails from members of the local area praising our children for displaying integrity; please feel free to email me directly using the 'contact form' under the 'Contact Us' heading. Our behaviour policy is Stay on Green, there is a page on this site explaining how it supports children in making the right choices.
Your feedback is very important to us. It would be helpful if you would complete the Ofsted online questionnaire and then update it regularly according to your most recent experience. Here is the link:
By analysing this information, we know what we need to work on to develop, for example - you feel we need to develop clearer guidelines around homework, we also need to make sure you, as parents, understand our Anti-bullying Policy and procedures linked with this; also, we need to help you understand how well your child is doing in school throughout the academic year. These are currently being addressed and we hope you find improvements soon.
Thank you for your continued support.
