Mrs Miah

Hello Pupa Class and year two!

How are you? Firstly I really miss you all, I miss you shining personalities and kindness you showed me everyday at school. I hope you are just as nice at home. Are you being helpful and respectful to your family?

It’s the Easter break and I have been busy with my two little boys too, trying to home school and get on top of my chores. It’s very hard work children, so my words of advice is,  please listen to your parents and help out where you can.

It has been very good to see that lots of you are logging on to Bug Club and reading your books, Our heat map on TT Rockstars is starting to look greener so well done for practising your times tables. Don’t forget My Maths and Purple Mash children. There are some fantastic resources for you to have a go at on Easter homework page, be sure to have a look and have a go!

I’ve decided to challenge my self and learn something new! Dance! Yes I’m going to have a go at learning a dance routine. Can I challenge you to learn something new? It could be anything…e.g dribbling a ball, making pancakes, sing a whole song, rap, draw, paint…. The list is endless!

Children I must share this with you as we have been reading so many Julia Donaldson books. Julia and Axel Scheffler have used the characters from their most popular books to create a beautiful booklet to help children understand social distancing. Here is the link, be sure to check it out!

Stay safe children and enjoy your holidays with your loved ones!

Lots of love,

Mrs Miah
