Gascoigne’s Virtual Art week 2020
As Covid-19 interrupted our learning, stopped play and disrupted our connection with nature, this year’s theme will be:
The Natural World
Connecting with nature
We hope these activities and projects will encourage you to get creative and active, improving your health and wellbeing whilst having fun.
ENJOY!!!
In order to complete these activities and projects you will need:
1. To gather items for your artwork – berries, leaves, grass, stones, pebbles, bark, cones, branches, greenery, petals, plant/flower buds etc.
2.A camera, iPad, phone (to take photos,so you can share it with your teachers)
3. Somewhere to explore: a park, the woods, a beach, garden, school playground, etc.
*Please ensure you treat the environment with respect and be mindful of how much or where you pick things from. If you are not sure, you can always ask an adult.
Finally, you put all items in a pile and start creating your pictures. While there is no restriction on the size of your artwork, you must be able to take a photo of it.
Why not try to write a poem, create a song, draw, paint or do any other creative and fun activities involving Natural World?
GOOD LUCK CHILDREN!!!
