Hello again Year One!.
It's Miss Hagger once again. Fred and your teachers are EAGERLY awaiting the first Fred Friday letters - we cannot WAIT to see what you've all been up to this week. All of the teachers would just like to say how PROUD we are of all of you (both children & parents) for being super adaptable and flexible during this weird time at school. We don't know what's going to happen in the future weeks just yet, so we might as well have as much fun as we can right now.
We hope you all have a restful and well-deserved break this weekend. The e-mail box will stay open should you have any queries/requests.
OOps! Remember to complete your weekend home learning tasks.
Look after each other and stay safe!
Lots of love,
The Year 1 Team.
Good Morning Year 1!!!
It's Miss Hagger. Just a quick one to let you know just how much we're missing all your smiley faces. I know you're all going to be smiling today, because it's FRIDAY!! We made it to the end of a busy week.
All the teachers in Year 1 are VERY proud of you, for all the work you've been getting up to at home. Let's see if we can keep it up for one more day so we're ready to relax at the weekend!
Today, you will need to follow the time table and complete the tasks that have been set. We've had Fred the Frog on the phone this morning making sure children are still Fred talking and practising their sounds (which we know you all are doing), so make sure you squeeze in another Phonics practise this morning.
I'm so excited about your writing activity, as you'll be writing a letter to Fred telling him about the amazing things you've been getting up to this week!!! We can't wait to read them with Fred.
…...…..and oh! In Maths, you'll need to dust off those mathematician hats and get them ready to go as you'll be thinking critically when explaining your reasoning. We can't wait to see the results of all that mathematical thinking.
Remember to email us if you need support...we'll be waiting!
Best of luck to you all and remember to SMILE BECAUSE IT'S FUN FRIDAY! 😊
