Good Afternoon Year 1,
It's Ms Jawaher again!
How was your day? Did you spend some time outside? We hope the learning wasn't too tricky today, I know you’re all working so hard!
Thank you for sending your learning to your teachers today; what a fantastic read of your letters! Well done for being able to divide quantities. Many of you used your mathematical symbols correctly, so a big thumbs up to you.
Thank you for sharing what you are doing while we are so far away!
Congratulations to the Reading Champion of the week! Who would it be next week?
Remember, you do not have to print the Reading review template for your review, try and create your own using the prompts on the template; then, ask your adult to take a picture and share on Seesaw. It is just that simple!
Have a nice early night and a good rest over the weekend ready for Monday.
Good morning Year 1,
It is that day of the week when we can read your fabulous letters!! Yes, it’s Friday and the time to write a letter to Fred! I’m sure you’ll tell him all about the exciting things you did this week, such as listening to the soundtrack on Yumu this week from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, learning about what we need to do to stay healthy and the mathematics skills you used to group and share objects and quantities.
Remember, to use your neatest handwriting (ascenders and descenders) when writing your letters and send them to your teachers on Seesaw.
Dive right into your maths learning to see what more you have to learn about sharing. Remember to use objects to help you work through your problems if it gets a little challenging.
Are you in the race to be a Reading Champion? Get your magic pencils ready to write a review about the books you’ve read or are going to read today and send them to your teachers on Seesaw.
Remember to read at-least one book everyday on Bug Club because Reading is the exercise for the brain.
I’ll leave you for now and please email us if you need help!
Bye for now and have a good day!
