Friday's Learning

Good Morning Year 1s, laugh

How are you all? I hope you have all been getting on ok! I have really enjoyed looking at your lovely work which I have been receiving through SEESAW.

Have you all managed to check out the SEESAW App? Your teachers love it because it means we are able to communicate with you better, receive your learning and give you some feedback. Make sure you log on and send us your learning daily, it really is great!

Kickstart your day with Joe Wicks and get your energy going to start your tasks for the day. I hope you are enjoying exercising with him.

For maths today, you will be logging on to Purple mash and making some delicious pizzas. Remember to read the instruction carefully as it will ask you to add a half, one quarter and even three quarters of ingredients on a pizza.

For handwriting and SPaG learning, you will add describing words (adjectives) to a sentence to give it more detail.

Try to read and write at least two book reviews every day and share with your class teachers on SEESAW. Your book reviews will be celebrated on the Reading Champions celebration page, where a winner will be chosen every Friday. Speaking of which, today is FRIDAY! Make sure you head over to our Celebration page to find out who the winner is.

Thank you to all those children and their parents who have been uploading their learning. We love looking at them as it shows you’re keeping up well with your learning.

enlightenedDon’t forget to log on to Bug club, My maths, TTRockstar and Purple mash for additional learning activities.

Remember to be on your best behaviour and eat lots of healthy food and stay hydrated!

Have a great dayyes and I will be back soon!

Good afternoon year 1, laugh

How did today’s learning go? I hope you enjoyed your lessons. What are you doing for the rest of the afternoon? It’s such a beautiful sunny day. Maybe you could go for a short walk with your family and get some fresh air or just relax for a while and do some reading. Don’t forget to log into Bug Club as all the teachers have noticed many children are not reading books online and well done to those who are reading everyday and trying their best. We are super proud of you!

I’m sure maths went well and you were able to follow the instructions and make all pizzas to order.

Did you all manage to send Fred your letters through SEESAW? He wants to know what you all have enjoyed learning at home this week. So, hurry up if you haven’t done so.

Finally, please remember to continue reading and practising your times table on TT Rockstars.

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!! Enjoy your weekend, stay safe, eat lots of healthy fresh fruits and vegetables and drink lots of water.

heartLove from,

Ms Begum
