Friday's Learning

Important - Use Seesaw to share your learning with your teacher!

Parents:

Download the Seesaw Class app. Use the 12-digit personal text code, sent via email.

Your child can then share their learning with their teacher and receive feedback.

Good Afternoon Year 1,

It's Ms Jawaher again!

How was your day? Did you spend some time outside? We hope the learning wasn't too tricky today, I know you’re all working so hard!

Thank you for sending your learning to your teachers today, what  a fantastic read of your letters. Well done for being able to halve different quantities.

If you found Maths a little tricky just remember halving is the equal amounts in 2 groups, so if I have 3 in group A, I must have 3 in group B. If I don’t have the same it is unequal and not a halve.

Thank you for sharing what you are doing while we are so far away!

A big smile from your teachers to you all and a massive thumbs up!

Congratulations to the Reading Champion of the week! Who would it be next week?

Remember, you do not have to print the Reading review template for your review, try and create your own using the prompts on the template; then, ask your adult to take a picture and share on Seesaw. It is just that simple!

Have a nice early night and a good rest over the weekend, ready for Monday.

Bye,

Ms Jawaher

 Good morning Year 1laugh,

It is that day of the week when we can read your fabulous letters!! Yes, It’s Friday and the time to write a letter to Fred! I’m sure you’ll tell him all about the exciting things you did this week, especially the investigations you carried out, the mathematics skills you used in the kitchen with your parents and any other news. Remember to use your neatest handwriting (ascenders and descenders) and send them to your teachers.

An apple too large for you to eat at once and you want to save some for later? Have you ever thought of how you can share it with your mum or dad so that both of you have the same amount?  Well let’s find out today as you learn about how things can be shared equally in two groups in your Maths activity.

Are you in the race to be a Reading Champion?  Get your magic pencils ready to write a review about the books you’ve read or are going to read today and share them with your teachers so we can celebrate your learning at 3:00pm

Now, you always have to share your book reviews on Seesaw with your class teacher, and your learning will be celebrated on the Reading Champions Celebration Page.

Remember to read at least one book everyday on Bug Club because Reading is the exercise for the brain. I’m so excited to celebrate the first Reading Champion today and can’t wait!

I’ll leave you for now and please email or send us a message on Seesaw if you need help!

Bye for now and have a good day!

Ms Jawaher
