Friday 17th July

Dear children

How was your day today? I really hope that you enjoyed your learning and that you are ready to share your work with your teachers.

Please upload your performance poetry onto Seesaw for your teachers to see and feedback to you. You could do a sound recording instead of a video.

It is really important, especially as we draw closer to the summer holiday period, that you commit to learning and remembering most of the learning that has taken place at school and during lockdown.

Please keep practising all the grammar features that you have learned so that your writing standard is ready for year 4.

For Maths, you need to ensure that you revise the units that we have covered and that you know your times tables. Last but not least, reading is important as it is linked to everything that you do at school. Read for at least half an hour each day.

Thank you to those children who have been completing their learning online and uploading on Seesaw.

Have a pleasant evening and enjoy your weekend.

Dear children

I hope you had a lovely evening. Today, we have some great learning lined up for you.

PE. You’ll be completing a kids’ workout. Remember to extend your limbs fully for these exercise routines to get the most out of the session.

Literacy. You’ll be performing a poem. Watch Michael Rosen’s helpful video again to remind yourself of all the different elements necessary for a good performance.

Maths. Today you will complete the Friday maths challenge.

SpaG. You’ll be completing the revision activities.

Reading. You will read the books in your Bug club library.

RE. You will be recapping the beginning of Sikhism.

When you have completed the daily learning, please log onto TT Rock Stars and Purple Mash.

Have a fantastic day.
