Important - Use Seesaw to share your learning with your teacher!
Download the Seesaw Class app. Use the 12-digit personal text code, sent via email.
Your child can then share their learning with their teacher and receive feedback.
Good Afternoon Year 3!
How did you get on with your learning today? Have you sent some of your amazing learning to Mr. Hollingsworth on firstname.lastname@example.org to go in ‘Celebrating Our Learning’ page?
As you will now have the opportunity to share your learning with your class teacher directly through SeeSaw, we will be changing the 'Celebrating Our Learning' page next week to celebrating our Golden children. Click on the 'Golden Children' page on next week's learning resources (available from Monday) to find out more about that!
I know you are all keeping fit with Joe Wicks P.E sessions every morning.
Your answers for today’s learning are available so make sure you check.
In Writing, did you use your best handwriting to re-write your story? How do you feel about your final draft today?
What about today’s Maths Challenge? I hope you did very well.
In SPaG this week, you have been expressing time, place and cause using conjunctions. Now, you will be able to use them correctly in your sentences.
How was your Bug Club reading today? Did you use your reading strategies and inferential skills to help you answer the comprehension questions? Did you finish your book?
In R.E, you now understand why Diwali is celebrated and how it is celebrated by Sikhs and Hindus around the world. How lovely to learn about other Religions.
I hope you are all excited about the Seesaw and looking forward to share your learning with your teacher. Remind your parents to download the seesaw class app if they haven’t done so already.
Have a restful weekend, stay safe and we will be back on Monday.
Good Morning Year 3!
I hope you are all doing very well and staying safe. You are going to have another day of exciting learning.
Try your best to complete all your learning for today by following the timetable and don’t forget to ask for support if you get stuck.
As usual, you will start your day by doing P.E with Joe Wicks. This will be followed by Writing, Maths, SPaG, Reading and R.E.
In Writing, you are going to re-write your story to make it better and remember to use your best handwriting.
For Maths today, you are going to complete a CHALLEGE which I know you enjoy doing.
This will be followed by SPaG where you will be learning about Time and Cause Conjunctions. Don’t forget to do the Mini Quiz.
Reading today is all about Bug Club. You will need to log on to Bug Club to read an entire book and answer all the comprehension questions. It will be nice to complete a book review on the book you read.
Finally, in R.E you will learn about Diwali for Sikhs and Hindus.
Taking regular breaks during your learning is important so don’t forget. If you have any problems or questions, don’t hesitate to email Mr. Hollingsworth on email@example.com
Big congratulations to all the children who have been sharing their learning with us this week. It is never too late to share your amazing learning with us if you haven’t.
I will be back later today to see how you got on with your learning today.
Stay safe and enjoy your learning.
