Good afternoon Year 2 !

I hope that you have had a wonderful day of learning , I know that Miss Boyce has been very busy with the children at school as I’ve seen lots of creative activities on seesaw. My mind was definitely blown by the DT lesson today, how fascinating I have always loved investigating 🧪. I really enjoyed seeing the photos that Mrs Vora uploaded yesterday of children using their free time to help others and learn new skills. It’s so important to see this and it really does put a smile on my face to see how children are working on building their own character.

Another thing that I think is really important is talking. This time apart has meant that we haven’t got to see the people at hat we see on a regular basis but we are so lucky with technology these days.

Yesterday I had a conversation with Miss Connelly and she shared a picture with me. Her dog Storm had eaten her mums slice of cake 🍰 and whilst I knew that this was a little bit naughty it really did make me laugh 😂 . Stories like this keep us connected and help us to maintain relationships with our friends. So keep sharing your learning and your stories with us and we will keep sharing ours.

Here she is , look at the guilt on her face ! She was caught with crumbs around her bed. Poor Storm , next time she needs to hide the evidence.

I hope you all have a wonderful evening, take care!

Lots of love

Good Morning Year 2 ,

I hope you are all well. I'm enjoying the Writing this week , children are really getting into it. I don't know about you but I would really like the rain to stop now although, it has helped to revive my grass so that it's nice and green.

Has anyone been to a restaurant now that they are open ? I went out for dinner on Saturday for the first time in 5 monthscheeky ! It felt a bit strange but I liked the idea of things slowly going back to the way they used to be. It made me reflect on the past couple of months and whilst there has been a lot of change some of it has been for the better and it has made me realise that we must be grateful for what we have. It's important that we share this , maybe you can tell the people that are close to you what you are grateful for. I tried it and it made my family smile which made me feel good too. smiley

Today you have lots of exiting learning to complete as usual so let's get cracking !laugh

I will be back later on to check how you got on. I miss you all dearly.

Lots of love

heart Miss Shermin heart
