Good afternoon children,
I hope you have had a productive afternoon.
How did you get on with the tasks? Be sure to check answers where available and self mark your work. Don’t forget to log on to and complete Bugclub, TT rockstars, PurpleMash and MyMaths.
Well done for working hard yet again and we look forward to seeing your fantastic work uploaded on Seesaw. I have already seen so many children’s work so keep up the good work.
With so much going on in the wider world, you may have questions to ask your teachers. I want to remind you that if you want to discuss anything with your teachers then use Seesaw as a tool for communicating. You can send a voice note, a video or type a note.
Lastly, I want to leave you with this song called ‘A change is about to come’ by Sam Cooke. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYiN-8NSCCI
Listen carefully to the words and look at the images.
What would you like to change to make better in the world? Why? We will look forward to listening to your thoughts on Seesaw.
Have a fantastic weekend!
Good Morning year two!
I hope you are all well and healthy. Kickstart your day with Joe Wicks and get your energy going to start your tasks for the day ahead.
Today your reading task is to answer part two of SATs style questions based on the text Coast. You have read and familiarised yourself with this text.
Remember to use the text to find the answers. Highlight key words, use the glossary and use the pictures to help you too.
For Maths, you will have a mini assessment place value to consolidate your learning. Go through the starters first before you do the main task. If you find it tricky, click on the tricky icon and have a go at those activities. Remember to check your answers at the end.
For English, today we are going to be looking at different leaflets and identify some of the key features so that we are ready to start creating our own leaflets next week. For SPaG you are learning about noun phrases, so take a look in the folder to see your task.
For your music lesson today, we are focusing on a new topic this term! Last term we looked at the 'friendship songs', however this term we will be focusing on a new topic 'reflect, rewind and replay'.
We are looking forward to seeing your work on Seesaw. Remember focus on your handwriting and your presentation. Be sure to complete your daily handwriting task in the handwriting folder.
Have a great day!
