Have you been enjoying reading George's Marvellous Medicine? Roald Dahl is one of my all time favourite authors - do you remember when I dressed up as Miss Honey from Matilda for World Book Day? 📙 She is an inspiration for all of your teachers! 👍

Goooooood morning Year 2 and happy Friday! 😁🤩🎉

How are you all? Hasn't the weather been so great, gorgeous and glorious? 🌞🌞🌞 I know my garden will appreciate the thunderstorms that are predicted over the next few days though - they have been very thirsty plants this week! ⚡🌩️🌧️

We have had lots of news in Laal class this week and I thought I would share it with the rest of you as I know how much all the children in Year 2 care for each other so much. 😊

Firstly, Adelina celebrated her 7th birthday on Monday. How amazing is her beautiful birthday cake?! 😍🎂🎉🍰

Have you celebrated your birthday this week or during the lockdown? 🎂

I also have some sad news to share with you - Ishaan isn't going to be returning to Gascoigne Primary School. He is moving back to his home in India. 😢 We are all going to miss you so much Ishaan - thank you for being such a wonderful member of our class! ❤️ We are unable to have a goodbye party for Ishaan but thankfully we were able to send him a card to send him our wishes! 😁
