The achievement across the school can be measured in a number of ways; the way in which individuals progress emotionally and academically, the overall improved attendance and good behaviour of our pupils, the overall stability of staff members, the positive attitudes of pupils and parents regarding their school; Gascoigne Primary School is a good school, with many outstanding elements.

The DfE Expectations state that:

 

  • 65% of pupils at the end of KS2 should achieve age related expectations or above in Reading, Writing and Maths.
  • The average percentage of pupils at the end of KS2 who made expected progress in Reading (compared to the 2014 national mean) = 94
  • The average percentage of pupils at the end of KS2 who made expected progress in Writing (compared to the 2014 national mean) = 96
  • The average percentage of pupils at the end of KS2 who made expected progress in Mathematics (compared to the 2014 national mean) = 93
