Nurture Aims:

 

The Nurture Team are here to listen to you and help you to:

  • Find the best way to learn
  • Be happy, safe and know that you are important
  • Get along with others
  • Make the right choices to stay on green and go for Gold!

 

The Nurture Group takes place in Jupiter Room every afternoon. We support children in all areas of the curriculum, focusing on Social and Emotional aspects of learning.

An Afternoon in Jupiter Room:

 

A typical afternoon in the Nurture Room would go something similar to this:

 

Lunchtime – Concentrating on good manners and the social experience.

Circle Time – Concentrating on listening and contributing.

Focus Tasks – Concentrating on engagement and doing our best.

Creative Curriculum – Concentrating on imagination and focus.

Structured Play – Concentrating on turn taking and sharing.

Tidy Up Time – Concentrating on following instructions and taking care of our environment.

Wash Hands – Concentrating on hygiene and cleanliness.

Snack Time – Concentrating on healthy eating and the social experience.

Reviewing Targets – Concentrating on individual expectations and group learning objectives.

Story Time – Concentrating on listening and understanding.
